When selecting a facilitator we look for 3 key capabilities.

  • Leadership – They each have the skills and qualities to role model the Young Guns framework.
  • Discussion leading skills – They each know how to control discussions, invite participation and gain agreement within allotted timeframes.
  • Structure – They each have the ability to ask questions to reveal leadership challenges and provide a logical structure that leads to a solution.

Each of our facilitators holds a Positive Notice blue card for Child Related Employment and has an innate ability to connect with young people.
